HEART Coalition Projects & Activities

• Held a healthy kids camp at Robertson Road Elementary School where 45 children learned about the importance of healthy eating and active living.
• Developed the "Worksite Wellness: A Guide for Employers," which was presented to local businesses and service organizations throughout the county.
• Sponsored the showing of the film "Supersize Me" at the State Theater.
• Developed a 3 year work plan to reduce CVD in Stanislaus County.
• Sponsored Automatic Extended Defibrillator Workshop for community and business leaders.
• Conduct CDV Prevention Education, Outreach at Healthy Families & Community Events.
• Developed County Cardiovascular Disease Prevention Resource Guide.
• Continued support of the American Heart Association goals and activities.
• Walk-It-Out (WIO).
• Developed & conducted the WIO Project.
