HEART Coalition Projects & Activities
- Held a healthy kids camp at Robertson Road Elementary School where 45 children learned about the importance of healthy eating and active living.
- Developed the "Worksite Wellness: A Guide for Employers," which was presented to local businesses and service organizations throughout the county.
- Sponsored the showing of the film "Supersize Me" at the State Theater.
- Developed a 3 year work plan to reduce CVD in Stanislaus County.
- Sponsored Automatic Extended Defibrillator Workshop for community and business leaders.
- Conduct Heart Information Faire 2001, planning 2003.
- Developed County Cardiovascular Disease Prevention Resource Guide
- Continued support of the American Heart Association goals and activities.
